Impulse 20

Versatility is at the core of Impulse. Impulse 20 is the perfect choice for more gear intensive adventures, such as cragging and long day hikes. Its stable ride, close-to-body fit, narrow profile, easy access and durability make it an excellent choice for active, athletic outdoor pursuits, from hiking and day-long mountain bike rides to technical mountaineering.

An over-the-top zipper gives wide-open access to the interior, which houses a zippered mesh pocket and two more open pockets in the lower corners for securing water bottles. A hydration reservoir can be hung in the interior and a port allows the tube to exit the pack. A small, external zippered pocket on top gives quick access to sunscreen, lip balm, and other small items.

A thermo-formed next-to-body foam panel protects the wearer from pack contents and works in concert with the removable internal foam frame board to stabilize the load. Fully contoured and padded shoulder straps include a sternum strap that slides easily up and down to achieve the right placement. Impulse 20 and 30 offer the addition of load-lifter straps, which help control the upper part of the pack when larger loads are carried.
